China is the Most Optimistic About Al Job Creation

The results of a survey conducted by Ipsos asking people if artificialintelligence will lead to many new jobs being created in their country.

Optimistic Countries

🇨🇳 China (77%), 🇮🇩 Indonesia (74%), and 🇹🇭 Thailand (71%) are the most optimistic, with a majority expecting AI to significantly create new jobs.

Pessimistic Countries

🇭🇺 Hungary (24%), 🇩🇪 Germany (29%) 🇵🇱 Poland (29%) are the least optimistic about AI-driven job creation.

Insight: This could be due to concerns about automation's impact on traditional industries or slower adoption of AI technologies in these regions.

Developed vs. Developing Countries:

Developed nations are generally less optimistic about job creation, likely due to fears of automation displacing existing jobs.

Developing nations exhibit greater optimism, possibly because AI is seen as an opportunity to leapfrog into advanced industries.

This data reflects a mixed global outlook on AI's role in job creation, with significant regional & economic divides. While emergingmarkets exhibit enthusiasm for AI's transformative potential, many developed economies remain cautious, underlining the need for policies addressing automation's challenges and workforce upskilling.
