The Strategic Plan for the Digitalization of Czechia by 2030

The European Parliament and Council established the Digital Decade Policy Programme 2030 (DDPP) on December 14, 2022. This program outlines the objectives of the Digital Decade and how to monitor progress by 2030.

Key Objectives:

• Assess the current state of digitaltransformation in EU Member States

• Develop "trajectories" to implement Digital Decade objectives

• Establish KeyPerformanceIndicators (KPIs) to measure progress

Four Basic Areas:

1. Digital Skills: Develop skills for a human-centric, sustainable digital society

2. Digital Infrastructures: Ensure secure, sustainable, and interconnected digital infrastructures

3. Digitalization of Businesses: Support businesses in adopting digital technologies

4. Digitalization of PublicServices: Provide online public services and administrative procedures

Implementation:

• European Union Member States must submit National Strategic Plans to the Commission

• The Commission will provide feedback and recommendations

• Plans will be updated regularly until 2030

Multi-Country Projects:

• The European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) will facilitate cooperation on multi-country projects

• Projects will focus on areas like data infrastructure, low-power processors, and 5G or 6G communication
