The UK's White Paper on International Development emphasizes the need for "digital development," making digitaltransformation inclusive, responsible, and sustainable.

Digital Development Strategy (DDS) 2024-2030 aims to achieve 4️⃣ interconnected objectives:

1. Digital Transformation: Catalyzing economic, governmental, and societal sgrowth through digital technologies.

2. Digital Inclusion: Ensuring that no one is left behind in a digital world.

3. Digital Responsibility: Creating a safe, secure, and resilient digital environment.

4. Digital Sustainability: Leveraging digital technologies to support climate change and environmental goals.

To achieve these objectives, our DDS focuses on four priority areas:

1. Last-mile Connectivity: Providing basic connectivity in remote, low-income areas to ensure equal access to digital technologies.

2. Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI): Enhancing society-wide digitalservices, such as egovernment and national payment systems, to drive digital transformation.

3. ArtificialIntelligence (AI): Promoting responsible AI research and development, especially in African universities, and creating regulatory frameworks for AI.

4. Women and Girls: Bridging the gender digital divide by supporting women and girls' participation in the digital world.
