Remember MSN Messenger?
Watch this! Over just 25 years, the way we chat online has changed so many times—it’s wild. This is the biggest communication revolution you probably never even noticed. 🚀
But here’s the kicker: none of these changes are revolutionary, innovative, or disruptive. They’re just different versions of the same thing, except now it’s all on smartphones. 📱
In 1998, you were one of 3 million people on AOL Instant Messenger. Your “Away Message” was basically your personality. Life was simple. Then MSN Messenger took over, especially at uni, when you were meant to be studying. 📚 By 2009, WhatsApp launched. Nobody cared at first, but hey—texts were suddenly free! 🎉 After that? Who knows. The cool kids jumped to Snapchat. But let’s be honest, I’m neither cool nor a kid, so that’s where I’ll stop. 😅
